Italian niche line Acqua di Parma has launched La Riserva, a new trio of flankers in the brand’s Blu Mediterraneo series: Arancia di Capri La Riserva, Fico di Amalfi La Riserva and Mirto di Panarea La Riserva.
Arancia di Capri La Riserva ~ A flanker to 1999’s Arancia di Capri. Aromatic citrus. “An olfactory homage to the unspoiled beauty of Capri’s natural landscape, Arancia di Capri La Riserva is crafted from a two-month maceration process, infusing it with depth and texture that results in a full, intense, and silky essence. The light is scintillating, golden, and radiant, where each note harmonizes in a beautiful balance, thanks to the prolonged development. Zesty Italian blood orange, mandarin, and petitgrain bigarade essences greet with freshness while the heart unfolds with the aromatic blend of rosemary and Italian basil essences, enhanced by a salty mineral accord. Finally, the base notes of cedarwood and ambrettolide, paired with a soft and embracing suede accord, leave a warm and lasting impression, bringing depth to the fragrance.”
Fico di Amalfi La Riserva ~ A flanker to 2006’s Fico di Amalfi. Green citrus. “The fig’s natural lushness is elevated into an olfactory art form in the Fico di Amalfi La Riserva, where a two-month maceration process infuses the fragrance with depth and texture that results in a full, intense, and silky essence. The light is scintillating, golden, and radiant, where each note harmonizes in a beautiful balance, thanks to the prolonged development. The top notes burst with the freshness of Italian mandarin, blood orange, grapefruit, and lemon essences, while the heart reveals a sophisticated blend of orris concentré, complemented by an infusion of fig and lemon, with a rich fig pulp accord adding depth. Finally, the base notes offer a warm finish with tonka bean absolute, ambrettolide, and orcanox, leaving a lingering trail of refined elegance.”
Mirto di Panarea La Riserva ~ A flanker to 2008’s Mirto di Panarea. Aromatic citrus. “An intense and multi-nuanced fragrance from a 2-month maceration process, where rich myrtle and lavender essences interweave with the resinous warmth of myrrh and labdanum. An homage to the wild myrtle fruit and rugged landscape of Panarea’s volcanic fields, Mirto di Panarea La Riserva is crafted from a two-month maceration process, infusing it with depth and texture that results in a full, intense, and silky essence. The light is scintillating, golden, and radiant, where each note harmonizes in a beautiful balance, thanks to the prolonged development. The top notes open with the crispness of cedrat essence, sage, and juniper berries, offering a fresh and invigorating start. The heart introduces a rich blend of myrtle and lavender essences, with the depth of myrrh absolute. At the base, patchouli fraction, labdanum absolute, and lentiscus absolute create a warm, earthy foundation for a lasting impression.”
